What the hell gives man? I read on IMDB that this came out LAST WEEK and there are umpteen people here who have seen it already it seems in fact I am trying to be careful to avoid spoilers here. NONE of my local theatres are showing this. What the hell gives? Where the hell is it being shown?

shareThe Region 3 DVD and Region A (Hong Kong) Blu-ray have already been out for some time, meaning that any widespread cinema release in the US would be unlikely. The discs mentioned above are advertised everywhere by Internet stores, in case you really want to spend money on them.
shareNo US film distributor wanted to release this in a large scale in the US. In Chicago, which is a huge film city where we have theaters for everything (mainstream/indie/foreign/old school movies such as Wizard of Oz and yes it still plays on and off again in certain theaters here), only one, yes ONE theater in the whole Metro Chicagoland Area is showing it. Lucky for me it's not too far from home and I was able to get there via public transportation. If I hadn't stop by the theater and checked their website, I wouldn't have known that they were showing the film.
shareWell I am PISSED, I want to get to see this in a THEATRE, not on my tv, I do have a dvd player but its so much nicer to see a movie in a theatre, in fact the managers at my local theatres do not even know about the movie they give me a blank look when i ask about it.
