So is it Normal for Border Gaurd to try to kill unarmed people.

It also seem to know when anybody is trespassing. Overall this movie isn't bad movie. Im mean if you don't believe check out Twilight. But the Border Guard just seem come out of the blue in both scenes. I know this a Worldist Society. But Come On. Hell we can't even catch half the people who cross the Mexican/Us Boarder.

Not only that. They just start opening fire on random people and when Adam got caught the first time they lock away his mother/aunt and burn down their house. And yet, Adam gets away alive, is even able to get a job at Transworld, then breaks several laws that were said to be punished harshly and yet never gets anything more than a slap to the fingers?
From the opening on you'd exspect they'll throw him into a concentration camp and execute him the next time he screws up, but no ... they give him a job.

I thought that was weird too. I thought they were going to take this in a severe tone when she was taken & the house burned down. But he's allowed to live his life freely

A few more questions.

Were the guards from Up Above or Down Below? If they were from Down Below, why help the rivals from Above? If they were from Above, how did they not burn up when they were "down" there? What about the bullets? Did they shoot "up" and come back "down"
Maybe Cafe Dos Mundos' gravitational flux allowed that to happen?
So many questions.

Unauthorised contact is a capital crime. So it makes sense that they attempt to execute him.

Ever stood on the border of South and North Korea looking North? The friendly South Korean guides stress not to go out there for any reason because you WILL be shot - armed, unarmed, makes no difference.

'Then' and 'than' are different words - stop confusing them.
