How come when he was in the other world, his blood wasn't rushing to his head making look like a beetroot? Not to mention the fact that a human starts getting complications being upside down after 3 hours or so.

I wondered the same thing. Like I get its a movie, which is why I moved past the thought quickly but yea. It did cross my mind.
shareI also thought about that. For a sense of realism, the movie could have included some scenes of the boy learning to walk in the opposite gravity. That would have established that it took some time for him to get used to moving properly in opposite world.
