Ya, I was so disappointed, it has a great premise, a metaphor for the rich, and the poor as separate worlds, but none of the story elements make any sense, it's just poorly written, and there is so much rushed and development poorly so it lacks the punch it should have... oh man, so disappointed.

Posters keep saying that we need to overlook the lack of scientific explanation or accuracy and enjoy the story, but there's no story to enjoy! The romance plot is paper thin. The writer created this incredibly intriguing and off-the-wall premise involving two planets with opposing gravity, yet we're supposed to ignore it and instead focus on the most oft-trodden romance plot possible. Even as an allegory for class or race differences, the plot advances no new or provoking ideas.

Agreed. The mirror image effect soon became an annoying gimic and there is little else to recommend this film.
