Don't these two planets revolve around their star?

or around themselves?
how come the same places are facing each other all of the time?
& even if those planets were stationary what about the rest of the two planets that aren't facing the other planet?
& if the planets are stationary and the other parts of both planets aren't suitable for life, how come in the upside down world they have days and nights?

I was thinking that straight after the opening credits.
Fortunately, I let *beep* go in movies because they're movies.

I didn't like the movie but maybe they revolver around eachother round an axis like the two ends of a cane when you twirl it around. And then like that also together around their star.
I'm just trying to come up with a bit of logic here since the makers of the movie clearly didn't bother to do so xP
