The acting was terrible for the most part and it seemed like a college undergraduate made the film, but I'm glad they didn't have Dylan decide he wants her and like shows up to say that it's alright. What kind of decent guy is going to want to be involved in a serious relationship with a porn star? The ending was probably the only thing that makes this movie a 3.

Many of these negative reviews online are totally off from what critics have written. Bad acting? Than how is it that it has appeared on multiple "Best Performances" of the 2009 year lists? For example: http://www.moviesmademe [dot] {com}/movie/review/2067
shareI think that the biggest problem for this decent guy wasn't her profession, it was her lying about it...and then giving him just a few minutes to absorb and try to deal with what was, to him, a significant change in what she was about. After that brief moment, she walked out on him. That is a pretty valid reason to back away to safety.
shareWas the guy decent? Yes. Was he compassionate? Was he STRONG? No, to both questions. She never lied. She omitted. A sex worker woman requires a very special mate, one who is completely secure in his masculinity and his relationship.
