i found it more like fight club and i also read somewhere that farhan akhtar accepts that this movie is "inspired" by a hollywood flick and donnie darko was more of time and space theory (it really went over my head) but karthik suffers from "multiple mental disorder" just like jack (nortan) suffers with "multiple personality disorder" in fight club so may be...well that's all my thought..have your say guys!

Na not at all to donnie darko but closer to Fight club.

When I finished watching the movie, A Tale of Two Sisters ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0365376/ ) came to my mind.
As far as I know, it is not a copy, and hence earns lot of points on behalf of me. Good job.

I watched this today and i thank god that this movie is not another hollywood copy
This was original and a good watch
It is not even close to donnie darko...
the only similarity between fight club and KCK is that in both these mvies the lead is suffering from some mental illness....
take my word it is quite differnt from fight club and a good thriller

Yeah... its more like 'A Beautiful Mind' & 'Fight Club'. Should agree that concept is not completely indigenous. A decent watch tough...

I have seen atleast 9-10 other movies with similar stories and same sickness (same twist).

I understood the hole twist thing already just with the name Karthik Calling Karthik. The story is alright, but this movie is watchable comparing to other bollywood films. But like I said, the story is to obvious because movies like with this type of "twist" has been made since Physcho

Definitely nothing like Donnie Darko. It's not very different from Fight Club. Though Fight Club's ending still puzzles me (bullet in the head?), this movie kept it simple.. Good to see bollywood embracing sci-fi
