Has Grown from Man to Dragon

Is such an epic quote.

It's slightly different in the play.

Sic: Is’t possible that so short a time can alter the condition of a man?
Men: There is differency between a grub and a butterfly; yet your butterfly was a grub. This Marcius is grown from man to dragon: he has wings; he’s more than a creeping thing.

Startling similar to quotes in "Red Dragon" where RF played a serial killer "transforming" from man to "dragon".

RED dragon? :)

Aristotle said that "He who cannot live in society is either a God or a beast", and this is a major theme of Coriolanus. Marcius, a man unable to live in society, is frequently compared to a Colossus or Godlike figure, and later on is likened to "a lonely dragon in his fen".

Marcius is the only leading character in a Shakespearean tragedy who has no soliloquy.

That's a pretty long quote if you know what I mean? ;)

Manhunter is a superior film to Red Dragon because it focuses on what Special Agent Will Graham went through just to capture Dr. Lecktor; and the fact that he has to do it again in order to capture the tooth fairy might result in his losing his sanity, yet again, is a remarkably intriguing story. I found that Red Dragon lacked that aspect of the story entirely and was focused more on delivering a traditional, dumbed down version of a thriller that has a brain.

But back to Coriolanus; it's awesome. I watched it a few hours back and it's absolutely terrific. I'm going to pick up the play and read through that soon.

I have to agree ... Manhunter was far superior.
