That's the only reason I can come up with for the very low score this movie got.
I expect a lot of people went into this movie completely unaware it was a Shakespeare adaptation and were unpleasantly suprised.

I guess it was the 'Expendables' crowd...

I guess most people don't even realize that Coriolanus is a Shakespeare play, since it's one of his lesser known works.
I have no other explanation for what happened with this film. It was incredibly disappointing.
It should have swept the Oscars, it was that good.
