I loved this movie

I loved this movie especially the ending...It was very clever except for the song and dance routine....I think hindi films should stop doing song and dances in order to be taken seriously...I myself give it a 10/10....the thriller aspect really had me going...

If anybody else liked this movie...please rate it as a 10 cause I think it deserves a better rating than 7...and lot of haters out there always rate this type of movies as 1 because it's different than usual bollywood crap...

reply

lets see,

a camera which takes pictures in FILM, yet when the film is developed a nice time and day & date stamp comes out....

anyways, this is a lame very horribly written film, and i rated it 4/10

I rated 8/10 to jhonny gaddar, which had excellent writing.

such films try to break the bollywood mould but fail ever so miserably

if anyone srates this 10/10 purely on its merits, then that person is retard

Why...So..Serious? Let's put a smile on that face of yours!

I dont get the point of calling people names just because they rated a movie xx out of 10!! You are the dumbwitted retard over here ROHONAG. You are a dumb**s for rating a movie 4 when you think it is lame and very horribly written - I mean ... if thats the case, rate it 0 or 1 or 2 max! And one last point - knowledgeable as you are on films, I believe what you want to say is that Johnny Gaddar had excellent SCREENPLAY (very different from WRITING)

This movie was terrible. The plot was good, the idea of the ending was good; it wasn't predictable like most endings. However, it was not even close to being properly carried out. The script was sub par, and any logic in the movie was nonexistent. As for the name calling, axl, you yourself called another poster names. And I can't begin to believe seagull thinks that Hindi movies should not have songs. That is a key part of our culture! It sets our cinema apart! It's where more than 90% of our beautiful music comes from. Have you seen Slumdog Millionaire? American people are going crazy over the song Jai Ho, and that movie won numerous awards. How's that for being taken seriously?

reply

I agree with seagull that there shouldnt be lipsync songs in hindi movies. And grindergirl ... I dont think that Slumdog had a full song in the movie. Jai Ho was at the end during credits ... no one says that Hindi movies cant have songs during credits! Its just during the actual movie that they usually add little and break the story

reply

Totally agree...
A song in any film.. shouldn't disturb the pace of the film...
Aa Dekhen Zara could have done with better editing for sure..
Strange.. despite being a relatively short film (by the standards of the Indian film industry)...The movie should have been a good 20-25 mins shorter.. It shouldn't have stretched over 90 mins...

"Songs part of Indian culture".. well..let's atleast not ruin movies in the name of culture...
