An entertaining slow burner

This is a pleasing morality tale about the extent to which Hong Kong is dominated by the gambling habit. That's gambling in all its aspects from stock market investments to the everyday betting. It's a little slow-moving to start off and, if it is going to be distributed more widely, it should do something to signal flashbacks more clearly. But, by the time we reach the end, everything has come together in a satisfying way. If there is a moral it's that, for there to be one or two winners in any gaming activity, there must always be the many who lose.
