i didnt read any reviews, didnt watch the movie or neither did any friend told me about it. i just saw this title somehow and read the first few lines on top of the page under the title name and i was like "isnt this North Country??"

No, North Country is about sexual harassment while Made in Dagenham is about sexual equality, specifically equal pay. Also, their fight was not a legal fight in the courts. The movie really came down to whether or not the auto workers union would stand by their female members in their strike against Ford for equal pay.
It's more Norma Rae than North Country.
I thought it was going to be like that, before I watched, but it has a totally different tone to it and is far more of a feelgood film.
