So did Wendy get back together with her jerk husband at the end, or did they break up? I couldn't figure that out. I was surprised she just picked up and left. That part was so disappointing - why didn't she stay with Horry? She was still in love with him after all.

Yeah, she went back to her husband. She made her decision a long time ago that she and Horry would never be together but she clearly struggles with keeping away from him when she's around him. They were the best part of the movie imo and certainly the saddest, I could have done without Paul and Annie and more of these two personally :-(.
