What could this mean?
I to am very connected to this movie. (55 years of dreams and now I know?) The dialogue blows me away..
shareI think the reason this film, although there are many bad things said about it, has a cult following is because for some of us, we are deeply touched and moved and connected to it. I myself would say that this is not only my favorite film, but it is much more to me. It has changed my life. It speaks to me on a spiritual level. I am so grateful to the creators of this film, so grateful that is was made. I wish I could personally thank them! haha, especially since reception of the film was all over the place.
Also, I feel that most people who praise this film would say something along the same lines. As opposed to simply loving the film for entertainment quality, I see a lot of folks say that it has changed their life.
Yes! The film has problems, and it's hard to describe the film. But I think that a lot of people who watch the film really connect with it and have a really strings notional reaction to it, in all it's optimism and sappiness. And I can totally understand why some would hate the film, and I don't think it reflects poorly on them of their intelligence; I think that the film just effects certain people more than others.
