on episode 6 and not sure if i should keep watching

I loved the first few episodes but now I'm starting to get really annoyed with how much this is dragging out. Especially because just when I thought Jan Di was starting to build a real attraction to Joon Pyo, Ji Hoo came back and now he's kind of ruining everything. I'm annoyed with Joon Pyo for being so pushy and coercive in the way he tries to woo Jan Di, but I'm also annoyed with Jan Di for not really putting her foot down and rejecting Joon Pyo once and for all. It's clear in this episode that she feels more of a real connection to Ji Hoo, as much as I don't want her to end up with him, so I don't see why she doesn't tell Joon Pyo the truth and make sure he understands he can't keep spending money on her and trying to win her over. Gah!

I also looked up a few spoilers because that's what I do when I start to get this annoyed with a TV show, and they aren't necessarily convincing me I should keep watching...

You're right about it being dragged out ... but that also tends to be the appeal for some people. You know the silly misunderstanding that happens in some romantic-comedy movies or single episodes of sitcoms? Imagine that, stretched out over 24 episodes. If that's not your thing, don't watch.

The thing is though, it's a very charming show. The characters are downright unlikable at times -- I think the point you're talking about is the point I disliked Jan Di too -- but unlike you, I really couldn't stand Ji Hoo.

Although I have an answer for why she doesn't just tell Jun Pyo she doesn't like him; either he wouldn't believe her and keep trying or he would and then go back to bullying her.

Thanks! I ended up sticking with it until the end, and I'm really happy I did. Everything changes after episode 6, so it was worth seeing how the series progressed. I did think the ending was weird, though. I liked it.... it was just weird.

Also, though I do like Ji Hoo, I never wanted Jan Di to end up with him. It just seemed like she was stuck on him, and I didn't understand why she didn't just go for it. I was (pleasantly) surprised when she finally decided to admit she liked Joon Pyo.
