"It's Magic" was by The Cars, and from the 1980's.

"Magic Carpet Ride" was by Steppenwolf, and from the 1960's.

PEOPLE!....the song Selena sings 'MAGIC' is a remake of an 80's song BUT which Disney star remade 'MAGIC' by OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN that was used in the movie 'XANADU'...I saw it on youtube but can't remember who it was??
