Justin was a different character in the film

While he shows his mature and responsible side now and then on the show, he leaned himself completely to his mature and adult side on the movie. He was more or less a different character, though he had some moments of weaknesses, too. But in spite of that, he wasn't goofy and forgetful that he can sometimes be in the series. Not that this was a major weakness in the film, cause the story didn't required that, but I prefer Justin as he is on the show; the smart, but the goofy and loveable guy.

just saw the movie for the first time, a year after this post, but the movie had the time to flesh out justin's character (alex's too) since they had more than 22 mins to resolve the crisis.

but justin stays true to himself from the show, he knows he's the smartest and shows his disappoints throughout the movie when he fails at something alex gets. but the thing i liked best was his interaction with alex in the movie that they can never get as deep on the show due to time. the movie let you see more of justin and alex's personality that they just dont have the time for on the show cuz they are trying harder for as many laughs as possible in the 22 mins.
