Best gay movie I ever watched and questions

Sorry, english is not first language.

I don't comment much on IMDb and it will be my first post after YEARS of lurking. I never had a movie that moved and made me cry so much. I am a little upset that it goes with the continuity of bad ending in gay romantic movies though... BUT I really liked the ending.

As for my questions (SPOILER) :

1) Did his (Miguel) wive (Mariela) left him for good ?
2) Who's that good friend of Miguel (Still talking him when he had his baby and helped him at the end) ? What is the relation between them ?
3) Was Santiago in peace if Miguel was not thinking about him or was he just not appearing and alone in his silent universe ?
4) Did the camera Santiago gave to Miguel had pictures of them despite Santiago being a ghost ?
5) (I don't remember her name) Did the girl that went in Santiago house with her boyfriend liked Miguel ? Did she felt guilty, then felt responsible and respected Miguel feelings at the end ?

Hope you guys enjoyed that awesome movie :)

1. The movie left me with the impression that Miguel's wife did in fact leave him for good.
2. Not sure.
3. I was left with the impression that Santiago was finally at peace.
4. I wondered this as well...I would think not.
5. Yeah, I think she liked and respected Miguel and felt guilty for spreading around information about the painting.
