I just watched Undertow for the first time and I am still processing it an hour later. It's almost as if I am being haunted by Santiago's ghost for sharing my time with him. I feel privileged to be one of the few who has experienced this amazing gem of an indie film.
Kudos to the whole cast and crew for moving me so!
The film is such an amazing, emotional film. One of the best gay films I have seen. I wish more people would watch the film!

I agree with everything written above. This film was a gift to my spirit and soul. The only thing that I respectfully disagree with is the classification of UNDERTOW as a "gay film". I say this only because this is SO DIFFERENT from most gay movies (in quality and univeral human appeal) ...... this is a film that could, and should , be seen and enjoyed by any "thinking and feeling adult" who would appreciate it's simplicity/complexity/humanity/honesty/depth/, etcetera. I only make this "label distinction" because I want more people of all sexual orientations to not be cheated out of this gripping tale of humanity, love, and redemption.
