... and most of them are quite attractive. Do you think there were some pretty good 'ugly' gamers out there, who went through the entire application process, did well on their examination, but... *cough* were told by the producers that they just weren't *cough* 'TV material'?

Perhaps I'm wrong - maybe there are no great ugly gamers out there.

And what about age? Think we'll ever see any gamers in their 30's or 40's on the show? Or are the reflexes too far gone by that age, lol. Seems everybody this season, and everyone from clips of last season that I've seen, range in the 20's.

I think you may have somewhat of a point. I haven't been terribly impressed by the performances of these "ultimate gamers" for the most part. But there have been a few exceptions like Robert, Yaz and Jake.

That's a factor too. Did the "casting agency" - oops, I mean 'video game performance judges', who chose who came onto the show, miss out on some better gamers by aiming for the more camera-friendly types?

Something to think about.
