Remember Carpenter's They Live? Isn't pretty much the exact same plot?
That's how the trailer appeared to me.
I haven't seen it yet, but it has some similarities.
It would make sense since they are re-doing They Live...everyone wants to get their vision out of the gate...

Those who Fall will find their Heaven, and will always be adored.
Some of the themes are similar to They Live, but overall, it is a different, arguably deeper movie.
sharethe conspiracy, such as it is, doesn't come from aliens, but rather a consortium of marketers beholden to the techniques of a certain guru-- how the technique works remains mysterious, as the sentient brands have no real origin story, so the film works as a parable or myth more than They Live does.
but the resemblance isn't lost on the filmmakers-- there's a bus stop ad near the beginning that depicts a wacky skull face wearing glasses-- that's a nice bit of obvious imagery for the They Live fans, if you ask me.
