propaganda...

There is sooo much you could criticize about capitalism...
Example: Dropping wages and social security thanx to market pressure - That would be a real point that is happening right now.

Also that's pretty much the reason it's not adressed anywhere.
---> Rich, in charge people of any political affiliation love spreading this propaganda: Work your ass off, don't expect any reward, give up your rights and self esteem, or the allmighty manipulating boogieman will get you. And of course "it's all your own responsibility".
It doesn't matter who the boogieman is, McDonalds or Socialism or Competition or Capitalism -
As long as it's diffuse and hard to define, yet able to scare people into submission.
- Make them paranoid "your beeing manipulated"
- Offer them an easy truth "I'm not manipulating you, everybody else is."
- Give them a sense of community and superiority "you're part of a group of better people"
Many will mindlessly cling to a leader.

In this sense: Tired McDonalds-Fast-Food-Demons, are a scapegoats and scarecrows for people who don't think things through.
People getting cheap food, instead of starving really is NOT bad thing - even if some might get fat.
This is not to say that there aren't millions of things wrong with fastfood cooperations... but the big problem isn't overweight people...
Also, we obviously don't follow marketing like brainwashed zombies...
We eat fast food because it's fast and cheap and because most of us don't have a lot of time. Marketing does have an impact but it's not that big...

Actually, making people believe that marketing and McDonalds are the big problem of capitalism is a manipulative marketing effort at work. There are big problems but they're at best related to all this...

Brainwash-marketing-conspiracies, and anti-democracy-propaganda are flawed it's self... if all is just manipulation and marketing, who's to say this movie isn't just part of it...

so complete cencoring of adds will make for a better world...? sure...
well banning all propaganda might... but that's the problem: How do u define what's propaganda and what is genuine effort to educate... it depends on your point of view...

luckily it's almost impossible to take this movie seriously... on the other hand that might just be clever guise...
