WTF

What's up with that lame techno music?
The guy who performed the modifications was also quite cringe.
The first 20 minutes of the episode were trash.

I keep waiting for the show to get better but it doesn't the only episode I've really enjoyed so far was the second one.

This episode was really bad, aside from Black Krrsantan's appearance. This show also has way too much backstory.

reply

I enjoyed it more than episode 3 with the lame spy kids-power rangers chase and some other crap... but ep4 still sucked.

reply

That scene was for college hipster douchebags.

reply

It's a very inconsistent show.

You're absolutely right about the beginning of that episode. I winced when I saw more of those Vespa speeders. Then the scene where she got repaired....yikes.

But I'll be God damned if Black K isn't a fucking force. My God, watching him fight is a blast.

I also enjoyed him getting the SLAVE 1 back and going after the biker gang/.

I don't know why he's not as tough as he was in Mando though. He was brutal in that. Outside his fight with Black K, he's come off as weak.

reply

It was only at the end of this episode that he was fully healed by the bacta tank.

reply

Yeah, but it's not like they stopped him from being a factor in a fight in Mando. He was kicking the shit out of people in Mando. Here? He barely uses the armor and is shown to be largely ineffective.

Way too much Cyberpunk 2077 in Star Wars. WTF indeed.

reply

I'm only on episode 2. You mean to tell me that this gets worse?!

reply

Unfortunately, yes... episode 3 is the worst one yet though.

reply

Ugh. Then I'm glad that I'm not paying for this crap. My nephew has a Disney + membership and he has me watch it with him, and so far it's been pretty terrible. I don't know how they managed to mess up what is basically "The Godfather" or "Goodfellas" with aliens, ray guns, and space ships, but they sure did. At least there were a some enjoyable episodes of the Mandalorian, and that at least felt like Star Wars in places. Aside from some familiar characters, this is just a boring mess, and I am only two episodes in! With a limited run of only 7 episodes you'd think that they'd have gone all out...
