a lot of 1 votes?...... why all the hate?

I was JUST about to make your exact post... from what I can see - and also from google - there was a lot of bias against this movie... It's definitely not a 5.8... let's put this in perspective twilight has a 5.4 - that's accurate. This is movie is leagues better than that... the 1 votes just skewed the rating. I hate people who just vote with a blatant agenda... it might turn others off from the movie because it has a low rating.

because it's a crappy movie, i'm a palestinian, i tired to go through this pretentious crap, i couldn't. i don't think i reached half of the movie, it's boring and disgusting to hell. i can't believe venessa redgrave would be in such nonsense.

Yeah. I want to see this movie. I realized that the 1 votes aren't really b/c the movie is bad or the directing/script/acting is bad. It mostly has to do with people's bias to one or the other side in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
