So Martina Cole's books are crap?

I read a discussion online in which a whole bunch of people said that Martina Cole's books are crap.

So why make a tv series out of one?If the book is crap then the tv series will be crap.

I mean that's just stupid!!!

What's your problem with this series? Every other post I've read you've made very negative and sceptical comments towards it, the show isn't perfect but it is a descent show which got Tom Hardy recognised as an actor whom rightfully deserved the recognition. I think the show was well done, everyone acted marvellously. It doesn't really matter if there were a few things off here and there. I think it was 4/5 ratings overall

(As I can't edit my original comment) I know he wasn't recognised for this role souly, as he got recognised first in RockNRolla then The Take. But my overall point is that he's marvellous and superb at what he does

Tom Hardy is a GREAT actor. The story is basically why I don't like this show. It's really dark and depressing.I especially hate rape and would never make it part of a show.

Also it took too long for the Turkish drug dealers to go to war with them. After Freddy shot that guy I expected him to be targeted straight away but they ignored that and just dragged on this depressing story.

I know I'm being picky, but when a show has so many problems in it it's hard to enjoy it.

It basically has zero entertainment value.THERE.I said it.

I appreciate your apply, I was expecting some Internet warrior to reply back to me haha, so I thankyou for an actual descent reply. On the original point, I get your point with the turks but I was always under the impression that Ozzy b controlled them and at that particular time Freddie and Jimmy were useful to him. I may be wrong but that's what I initially thought when watching it. With your second point (the rape) I personally think that scene and story just baught out (to me anyway) how much of a deluded/unstable person Freddie was because he didn't seem to give a crap about anyone else apart from himself... everyone has different opinions but I do get what you mean.

On the final note - I'm glad you agree with Tom hardy as an actor because I would have gone all bitch mode if you said he was a *beep* actor ??

Btw Those question marks were suppose to come out a emojicons :D

Okay.And it's "emoticons".

I still feel that black guy would have shot Freddie after he pulled out a gun at the ecstasy deal.It didn't seem very realistic that he would get away with something like that.

Also, wouldn't there be more guys at the deal?Guys with guns who work for the Turkish drug dealers?

I've seen drug deals in movies and tv shows, and that didn't really LOOK like one.

They should remake this as an action comedy.Or make a version that is set in the future or in modern times that is more realistic.
