I couldn't help thinking of this line from a movie made in the early '80s.

"Gordon's alive!" when the astronaut who they thought was lost made his way back to the station.

I had to stifle a little chuckle, because no one else was laughing. Nice homage, if that's what it was. It didn't come off as forced, like they often can (see a lot of JJ Abrams movies for examples).
