Basically from what I've been able to gather......Satan and Hell were a necessity....they had to be invented and made up because Honestly Its THE ONLY reason why you should be a christian.
It is a demonstrable fact that Christianity/The God of Christianity Brings NOTHING that any other religious cant also bring you or having No GOD can bring you
Being a Christian doesnt make you Happier....It doesnt Make you a better person....It doesn't result in you being able TO LOVE more....It doesnt make you a better husband or Wife....
An Atheist, Muslim or Jew can be just as happy as a christian, can love just as much and can be just as great as wife or husband...
Theres a guy on youtube that has a podcast called "Pinecreek"....where He brings on The most popular Christians and talks with them....and He also asks the question "why should I be a Christian"...
and 95% of the time, The Christian ends up admitting The Main reason you should be a Christian is to avoid HELL...
on The Podcast he masterfully points out to all them, Christianity doesnt offer anything but The Threat of Hell....most try to claim They believe in Being a Christian and Having a relationship with Jesus results in a better life But Then cant defend that claim when He points out atheists or Muslims that have Great Lives, Great Marriages and are very happy without Jesus.....
Bottom Line is.......Satan and Hell is more important to Christianity than Jesus....
If you talk to the majority of Christians long enough, I'd say literally 90% of Christians Will eventually admit the Main reason they are a christian is the fear of Hell.....
They will first try to claim having a relationship with Jesus results in The best, most meaningful life, but once you go point by point and show them they cant defend that claim....It always ends with "You should be a christian so you dont go to hell"
Hell and Satan had to be invented because Christianity NEEDED a Threat....Christianity Offers NOTHING else, Being a Christianity can not demonstrable do anything else BUT threaten you with hell and save you from The BURNING In HELL
