Celebrities and historical figures of the past

I think it would be interesting if the show or any genealogical show start with a famous person from the past and then present their family history going forwards to the present. Direct or indirect descendants can be contacted and interviewed about their connection to a historical celebrity. I have wondered about whether the descendants of famous authors, scientists, politicians, and activists know about their family history. I also want to know what became of so-and-so's children and grandchildren. I'm just curious.
