Then episode 2 was a total crock of shit. I'm in ep 3 now, but this is a total bait and switch show. The first episode is following anecdotes of NDEs, but as they transition into mediumship, there are so few of the mediums who seem legit. I don't really believe in mediumship, but I'm open to the possibility, and the examples they show are almost universally obvious scammers.

shareI don't require a lot of evidence, but some would be nice. The ghost one was a little better than the mediums, but there were still a fair amount of hucksters. It was definitely the physical mediums that were the most full of shit.
shareI know what you're saying, it seemed silly at times. If a spirit takes over your body, it would be the same person's voice, it wouldn't change genders. I've never been to a seance, but now more interested than ever. Most of what they're talking about has to be experienced 1st hand. I can tell you that receiving SIGNS is very real from personal experience, both awake and asleep.
shareI can tell you just today some stuff fell off my desk as I was working. These were things I placed so that they lean into the wall. There was no way they could have fallen like they did, and out loud I spoke to...whoever...to see if they would do it again. Nothing. I lost someone about a year ago, and I've been a bit more open to the idea that he may persist, but I've never seen a ghost or had any supernatural experience. I'm very on board with the existence of extra terrestrials, and I have seen things that have made me convinced of this. This doc had some people who had stories that seem to check out, at least as far as anyone could really verify. There were many other instances that I found completely disingenuous.
shareI'm sorry for your loss. Right away I was reminded about the movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze. It's written that physical manifestations require a lot of energy and so don't happen very often. I wanted to mention about looking into psychics that use tarot cards. It's very similar to mediumship without the theatrics.
shareHas nothing to do with skeptics when you see the mediums it is clear they are making shit up, throwing out general things and then slowly twisting them until they fit the person. This type of crap just taints the whole series. I have read about some of the cases in the first episode and they had some merit.... but when they get to the talking to the dead or seeing dead people its suddenly gone to carnival land which then makes you question whether any of other stuff is legit or is it also a scam and you just haven't figured out what the motive for the other people is.
