Anger is an easy emtion (Forgiveness take STRENGTH)

You know, when I first saw his fall from his Grace, I was angry. Angry that he caused others to stumble.

What I hope people understand is the Bible has over 700-mentions of the word "Love" vs. for example 90 for "Hell".

Search for yourself: http://bible.cc/

The Message of Jesus Christ is about LOVE and Forgiveness.

It's not about wagging or pointing a finger at another "Sinner".

Unfortunately this Message gets lost on a lot of people.

I truly believe if God were in Human form walking this earth, he would give a Hug to both Ted Haggard and the Male Prostitute that exposed his sins. God loves both of those individuals EQUALLY!

We must realize we are ALL Sinners. NO ONE is "better" than another in the eyes of God. God loves everyone.

I hope and pray the Haggard family finds the Peace they need to carry forward and hope and pray those people who might curse God, step back and realize what we are suppose to learn from this is we are all sinners, God loves EVERYONE, yet we need to turn from our Sinful ways to have a relationship with GOD!.

By the way, these teachings can apply both to Ted Haggard and the Male Prostitute that "exposed" him. God wants BOTH to know the LOVE that God is able to offer them. A "SIN" is an injustice no matter what the Sin. The Sinner and God will "Sort out" how those are paid for.

Just about EVERYTHING you find in the Bible, the "Ultimate" lesson is about UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for God's creation (Humans).

Here are some IMPORTANT points people should understand when they watch this show:

http://bible.cc/james/1-26.htm
James 1:26
"If anyone thinks that he is religious and does not bridle his tongue, but instead deceives himself, his religion is worthless."

Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary

When men take more pains to seem religious than really to be so, it is a sign their religion is in vain. The not bridling the tongue, readiness to speak of the faults of others, or to lessen their wisdom and piety, are signs of a vain religion.

The man who has a slandering tongue, cannot have a truly humble, gracious heart. False religious may be known by their impurity and uncharitableness. True religion teaches us to do every thing as in the presence of God.

An unspotted life must go with unfeigned love and charity. Our true religion is equal to the measure in which these things have place in our hearts and conduct. And let us remember, that nothing avails in Christ Jesus, but faith that worketh by love, purifies the heart, subdues carnal lusts, and obeys God's commands.

Here we go again.

Jesus is SUCH a nice fellow. He says so himself.

John 15:6 (New International Version)
If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

Luke 13:23-24 (New International Version)
Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?"
He said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

Luke 14:26 (New International Version)
"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters - yes, even his own life - he cannot be my disciple.

Mark 7:9-10 (New International Version)
And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'

Matthew 10:34-37 (New International Version)
"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law - a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;

Matthew 5:17-20 (New International Version)
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Frankly, I think it's better for Ted to use his recent experiences to realize that he's been deceived, and has participated in two great deceptions himself. Join reality, Ted. There's probably no god. So stop worrying, and enjoy your life.
