Not terrible, but not great

The only saving grace of this movie was Eddie's attractiveness. I grew extremely tired of the angled, lighted closeups of LeeAnn Rhimes' face/teeth/ridiculous attempts to be sexy. The better parts of this movie were the ones that were NOT the romantic scenes. I mean seriously, Eddie Cibrian and LeeAnn Rhimes? They should have swapped casting with Midnight Bayou and paired her with Jerry O'Connell. That would have made a little more sense. I wanted to like this movie, but LeeAnn should stick to country music. She's a terrible actress.

I agree. As a reader of Nora Roberts' books, I am sure the novel is great. I haven't read it, but I'm sure it beats the pants off this movie adaptation, lol. I could tell that Leigh Ann was trying her darnedest to seem like a sexy romance novel character, but she just couldn't pull it off. I don't know why Eddie Cibrian hasn't found his way onto a successful show again, he's a pretty good actor. Sad, so sad. I'm hoping Midnight Bayou doesn't suck this bad, lol.

Yeah, me too. I want to watch all of them. I really liked the movie adaptation of Carolina Moon, with Claire Forlani in it too. It came out a few years ago I think.

It was way better than I expected. LeAnn did a pretty good job imo, but I know a lot of people enjoy tearing her down...

i liked it, the story was good , its just that the films have less time to flesh out the story, didnt show how long time passed!!!
