Favorite part of the movie

****** may contain what some of y'all consider spoilers ******

I think that my favorite part of the movie is the same thing that seems to have upset so many others.
I loved the fact that they never told why she was killing/torturing.

IMO, that just leaves us more to think about.

Robert A Masciantonio... Thank you for entertaining me. I will most definitely be looking forward to future films.

Thank you, Lord. I hope I get to make more.

Dis the version you see have the amazing swizzle stick in the urethra scene? Because that scene is crazy.

The swizzle stick scene could've been done better. After the stick is all the way in, she lets go of his dick and it flops to the side and bends several times, ruining the illusion of a stick inside of it.

For a film that did such a good job with special effects, it's strange they missed that detail in clearly what was meant to be the most shocking scene of the film.

The best scene for me was the bathtub scenes - I love the expression on The Girl's face before she throws in the hairdryer(?) and I love the return to the scene later. That was inspired.

If we're going with Favorite Tortures or whatever you want to call it, I'd pick the one with the hacksaw. Always gets me.

My favouite bit in the movie was the balding, mustached man with glasses standing by himself in the party holding the balloon. That was great!

Torture-wise obviously the penis torture was fantastic, but there were some other good ideas - not always well executed but some really good ideas.

The steel rod in the japs-eye is always going to be the top of the list for many but I really cringed at the first one - the hammer rip on the shins. Ever scraped that part of your leg when wearing shorts? Yeah, that smarts.

But I think Robert, you should've gone all William Friedkin with Don's character and done something off-camera to make him squeal more. What let down the scenes for me was the way he gave a few yells during the particular torture then shut up.
I think if it was me that was having my thighs ventilated I might have shouted the house down and maybe become a little more animated ;0)

I was just reading through this board and commented elsewhere but when she freaks out over the tiny cut in the kitchen, that was one of my favorite things about the movie. It was strange, I don't think I've seen a violent killer do something like that. They are usually tough and cold. I found it refreshing and hilarious. Oh, and the scene where she is torturing the main guy, then stops to get a cup of coffee, only to ask him where he got the cup! I really did laugh out loud. Those where the kind of things I liked about it.
