shareYeah, but that kind of gets us prepared. Don't get me wrong, this is my (one of many) guilty pleasure show, but it is ridiculous. I think it won't last long without some better writing. The dialogue would be acceptable with a better continuing plot, and vice-versa.

Clearly their father must have tipped them off that he was going down and told them to get the heck out of dodge to wait for him. Clearly if they know how long he is supposed to be gone for they have talked to him about the possibility or after his arrest he called them.
They obviously had a plan worked out ahead of time if they knew which "other house" to go to. One that was off the books.
