Handicapped Parking

The other side of that is people who do have legitimate handicaps and parking permits and then get harassed because they don't fit somebody's image of what a handicapped person looks like. Yes you can have a legitimate handicap permit when you are under 70 and not confined to a wheelchair. Etiquette Hell has lots of stories:

I'm 50 years old and have a handicap placard. I've often gotten dirty looks from others because I don't fit their idea of what a handicapped person should look like. I've even had people ask what was wrong with me. I ignore them because it's none of their business that I've had two heart attacks plus have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I generally ignore them but have been called mean names.
