That Reunion was faker than The Jerry Springer Show (spoilers)

When Cocktail came on, it seemed so staged and fake. And that was some really bad acting on both her and Ray J's part. I've got to give props to Ms. Berry though. She played the role of the played victim really well. Anyway, I gotta say that Lava, Jaguar and Cocktail looked really hot. And Extra looked really cute with her new do. But still fake as hell.

reply

Agreed on everything you said.

reply

I agree a lot of this stuff is fake but I dont believe that was.

Ray J has too much of an EGO to be called out like that.

It's like with the Real Chance reunion and everyone kept calling Chance gay, I doubt that was staged either.

reply

I don't believe Ray to the Jay has any acting skills to have pulled off a hoax like that. He's a little baby bitch. Got a free ride off his sister. Been on her show foreverrrrr. I'm glad he got called out. I don't think she could have likewise summoned up tears on the spot backstage if it was fake.

reply

I could be wrong but isn't his mom the producer or something? I mean he would've known she was coming right?

Sometimes...dead is better

reply

Not EVERYTHING on Reality TV is fake. This aggressive, mean-spirited bout was clearly not planned--or at least not to the degree that it went. We never even found out what happened to Mz. Berry and why he didn't even contact her...

reply

Both him and his mommy were listed as executive producers in the beginning of the reunion episode so they knew she was coming out. However, I don't think they planned on Cocktail trying to air Ray out and steal the spotlight. In his position I would have had security escort her out and have the editors remove the footage of her making me look bad.

reply

^ Exactly. Something about this does not feel right. If it was staged why would Ray want bad publicity?

reply

Can someone please tell me how it ended? My DVR cut the ending off, and the last I saw was Ray, Miz Berry and that Cocktail chick arguing backstage. Who does Ray end up with, anyone? Or are we going to have a third season? He's not with Miz Berry?

He's as bad as Tila Tequila.

The Wire...the best series in the history of television

reply

He was genuinely flustered. Believe it.

me neither....I don't think Ray would be caught on purpose calling a woman a b*tch....

reply

I doubt they'd stage something that makes Ray J look bad...but if him and his mom are executive producers of the show, why would they even air the fight? This basically guarantees there won't be a Ray J 3.

OP,I was just about to come type the same thing. What a worthless waste of time that "reunion" was. And poor Mz Berry. Although I like her, she looked so pathetic sitting there while Ray J paid more attention to Cocktail and their "argument". And the Jaguar issue was so ridiculous..................VH1 really dropped the ball with this one. I mean, deep down, we know it's all scripted to some degree, but that reunion was sooooo obvious and boring. And who the hell was the host? Never saw her before. All the girls weren't even there.

reply

It's funny that people are so jaded by the fake-nature of reality-TV that they can't recognize real drama when it comes.

1. The host, who was new, was actually a very good interviewer who asked some direct questions--very different from the pushover Lala.

2. Ray J and his mom would never stage a fight that escalated to Ray storming offstage, a girl accusing him of doing everything "for business," he screaming at her being a "bitch" like an idiot, and the ending of the show derailing to such an extent we never even hear Ray's justification for abandoning Mz. Berry.

3. Even if they knew Cocktail would be on, they had no idea it would escalate like it did. After her honest words about his true nature, there is a MUCH LOWER chance of there being a Ray J 3. He came across as an immature player.

In my opinion, this was the most revealing reunion show ever, and the most entertaining I've seen on VH1.

reply

^^^^LOL. So true, so true. I don't understand how in the holy hell this is a spoiler, either. I guess I must have missed something, but I doubt it.

This was one vh1's best reunion show ever i didnt think it was fake or staged at all, one thing i didnt like about the reunion was the editing it was bad.

whenever i see jesus up on that cross, i can't help but think that he looks kinda hot- cartman

me too.

That seemed like the realest thing ever on the two seasons of his show to tell you the truth. We saw what Ray really was, a little boy who goes running off and then just talks about career and paychecks. That's all this was about. He's not looking for love. Cocktail was keeping it real.

What I calling fake (staged) was his fight with Cocktail. They planned this ish b4 the taping. I was LMBAO regardless but there was nothing real about that fight. Cocktail is one of Ray's crew and played right along.

I feel ashamed for any grown ass adult who believes this crap is real.

Outside of "for the love of Ray J" Cocktail and Ray ended on a bad note. He went on several hip-hop sites trashing her and stopped just short of calling her a whore. (No I'm not giving you a link get off your lazy ass and look for it)

Ray knew she was coming to the show (he's an executive producer..whether the title holds and merit or not he KNEW she was coming) He couldn't be that "slow" as to think she was going to sing his praises after everything he said about her.

Based off that alone that whole Ray vs. Cocktail set up was staged.

I'm going to predict a few scenario's that will happen in the coming weeks...

A.)Mrs Berry will want nothing to with Ray J because of what happened

B) Ray will say he really doesn't want to be with Ms Berry

C) After the "Brandy/Ray J" family show there will be a F.T.L.O.R.J. 3

Ray J goes to several media outlets and talks negative about Cocktail

He invites Cocktail to the reunion did he think she was going to say "Ray J is the greatest person alive!" Get fu_cking real!

This definitely wasnt staged. You must not have been around too many 'ghetto'd out' arguments and tears over silly things especially when it comes to obviously wrong relationships.

Not to mention neither one of those bozos are good actors to pull off emotions like those. Ray J was genuinely pissed, and Cocktail was a genuine woman scorned who really couldnt stand to see Ray J moving on.

Plus, just the outlandish weak sauce stuff Ray J had to bring up cuz ("well...uh you brought women to hotel room and the tour bus too", "take a look at this and take a look at Mz Berry") he was losing the argument, and was desperately trying to "G-spin" it to keep up his appearance as a smooth sneaky playa....but of course he failed.

That last 10 minutes redeemed the whole Season.
