Offensive towards cats
They make the cat very dumb. I don't appreciate it and I know many others don't either. I have a cat and he is very intelligent. Its offensive to see how they portray the cat in these cartoons
shareTom is only pretending to be dumb in order to trick Jerry. That is part of the brilliance of his performance, it is rich with complexities and subtleties. Both actors deserve serious Oscar consideration for their fine performances, especially considering that Tom and Jerry are actually good friends in real life. They do an amazing job in their respective roles acting as if they were enemies. That is true cinematic masterwork.
