Why?

Why was it made?

reply

To make money and because they couldn't think of any new ideas that I wanted to take a chance on.

reply

It won't make money though

reply

It might make some money. I suspect the studio considers it a safer bet than an original, new idea. Tom and Jerry has a potential built in audience, whereas completely new characters don't have the same built in audience.

You are probably the most annoying person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting on this website.

reply

Why don't you love me?

reply

I'm not annoying, you are annoying.

They are targeting young people. Most of these make money even with poor ratings. Just look at horror movies.
It is being released world-wide between Feb-Mar. Box Office is reported every Monday.

"Just look at horror movies."

LIKE THE EXORCIST?🤔

A calculated risk at spawning a new franchise. But this risk could've been easily calculated at a 0% success before it was ever made.
