er... I Thought it was a Film!?

I open the envelope from LoveFilm.com and it's 'Married Single Other'. I can't remember ordering that, but I'll watch it. So I watch it. It's a Blu-ray disc, and when I put it in it gives the options 'Married', 'Single', 'Other' and 'Play All'. So I click 'Play All'.

It's OK, not really my cup of tea, but it's the end that confused me. The ambulance guy Googles brain tumours and finds out about the smelling rubber burning. Of course he realises thats what is wrong with his wife-to-be. Then it ends.

Loads of lose ends, so I'm thinking, maybe it didn't 'Play All' so I click around, fast forward a bit etc and I've seen it all. I log into IMDB and it says it's a TV series! So did I just rent the first 3 episodes? How many are there?

And... where they really supposed to have Yorkshire accents?

Yorkshire???

The whole show is set in the Cape region in South Africa. Quite hard to miss that. The first two episodes complete the story. That "third" episode was included as a director's cut because SOME people had a difficult time understanding the plot. The third episode was constructed from bits left on the cutting room floor from the two halves of the original film. It was fairly seamless, unless you knew what you were looking for.

Most of the actors seem to have been born in Yorkshire and Lancashire.
