Saw I am Divine on Netflix the other day and has been a total fan since my teenage years I was to young to see the earlier stuff but I do remember the late night TV watching of Water's odorama with the movie Polyester along with the Stooges in 3D. And of course Hair Spray. I was very surprised about the Married with Children bit that Glenn could of been on, does anyone know what part or even that first script he would of received that I could read. cheers.
shareThe Married With Children revelation really surprised me. While I was a tad underwhelmed by this documentary overall (they spent too much time championing him, in my opinion), it certainly encouraged me to go back and visit some of the Divine movies I missed.

I was both a Divine and Married with Children fan as a teenager in the 1980s. I would have been over the moon to have him appear on the TV show, especially as a man. Since I hardly ever saw him out of drag, it would have been fun.

He was supposed to play an Uncle. (Peggy's brother I believe.) I have never seen the script.
