It's really easy to knock this film. It's obviously made with no budget or experience. The acting is really bad, and so is the music (especially the opening song).
I really applaud the effort though and encourage you guys to hone your craft some. We can always use more movies filmed in this area :)

I cannot applaud the effort, as seemingly there is none. It doesn't take any effort or budget to read a book or two about the basics of lighting.

Maybe a sophomore effort will reflect the wisdom you have stated.

Sadly, this is actually their sophomoric effort (check out "Evil Awakening").
