I loved the book. Can't wait for the movie.

Mom was mean. Mario was too enthusiastic as Zeus, and his voice wasn't synced well with the dog's actions. Stunts were bad. They did a fart gag. They never fully explained Zeus' and Dad's history together, or why exactly Zeus lost his voice.

Don't know why Vincent Pastore wasn't listed in IMDB's credits (though I can understand why he wouldn't want to be). Only liked Dean Cain's work; made a good comedy duo with Pastore.

This was horrible. 2/10...

I understand the poster's ire. The movie was almost insultingly bad. The production values were very low, most of the actors were just dialing it in. I think it was a real dissappointment.

I guess I shouldn't have expected more... I figured a remake of Home Alone starring a dog in place of Culkin wouldn't be that good anyways, but I didn't like this movie at all.

that's not Vincent Pastore. the other robber is played by Joey Diaz.

The mom was a witch, the dad a wuss and the son a dork. Movie barely watchable. The fact that they adopted the dog and then wanted to take it back was inexcusable to us animal people.
