Am I the only person that finds the concerto at the end of the movie, from the time John Connelly informs Whitey that the pinch is coming, all through the end credits is the most beautifully but sad music? It was done perfect and I feel is one of the best pro's of the movie

Pro ... yes positive. Its a good movie, I just think it should have a little more gangster action in it. That's just my opinion. The composition has got a sad but evil to it, like he made a deal with the devil. Like the story of " Faust " I think it beautiful.
shareI tried to look at the end credits to maybe recognized the name and composer of the concerto, but it is difficult. It must have been made for this movie and is part of the " score " music of the movie.
shareI'm glad they didn't use Requiem because that is for the Catholic Mass, and this movie was called Black Mass after all. Do you remember the Requiem used at the beginning of the Shining? Or at least that's what I think it was. Eerie as hell!

I remember the beginning of Shining. This composition is all original. Its at the beginning and just takes off at the end. I find my self just rewinding ( my DVD) to the time on the movie of when John Connolly gets arrested and play it through the Black Mass logo comes up at the end, over and over. Its that good to me
