Your all time fave character?

Okay i thought this would be interesting and redid my post with descriptions as to why i love these characters. They are not in a particular order.
Edward Elric: I think everybody loves him. He has amazing qualities: Bravery, a selfless devotion to those he loves, a witty snippy personality like my own. He is really a person to love.
Alphonse Elric: He's the calmer, more unfortunate one of the two brothers in a way. He's extremely sweet, lovable and shy, always tries to be the voice of reason. I think he's great.
Roy Mustang: What can i say about him? He's so realistic it's really scary sometime's. His grief after the loss of his best friend and ambition to help other's by becoming a leader was really touching.
Riza Hawkeye: I absolutely love this woman. She is really a role model for me: a independent, strong willed woman who doesn't care much about being feminine. She has a great secluded and sometimes sarcastic nature that sort of reminds me of myself.
Winry Rockbell: A lot of people dislike her very much, and i can't understand why. She is very sweet, but not very gentle, because she's a rough tomboy. I find her very important because her skills help Ed and Al survive, and she's always keeping them in her heart, and wants nothing more then for them to come home. She didn't need to fight to show she was a important character.
Envy:By now you must be thinking why would i put him? He has no place among the protagonist. The reason i love him is because he has a funny personality very different from the other homunculi. I found his jealousy towards humans tragic, and how he killed himself over that ( i know this even though i'm not finished)
Note: These aren't the ONLY characters i love, they just stick out so much for me

Scar was my favourite in both versions of FMA, but in Brotherhood he really showed off, his character was so much more interesting than in the second series!
Also, Lust and Mustang, and from background characters Havoc.

reply

Scar is indeed awesome.

I liked Greed <3 soo much. He was good, and bad in the same time. Hes only sin was greedness. I love Greed hes *beep* awesome.

reply

Wrath

I found it eerie that the character was the "human" embodiment of fury and anger, yet he always had a cool, calm, and collected demeanor. It is only in the final few episodes that you SEE his rage. I loved the Elric brothers but this character has just stayed with me..

If you've heard of it, it's already too mainstream for me. -Commander Shepard

For me it has to be ROY MUSTANG, oh my god I loved him in the maga and the anime series. He was so cunning and smart and just cracked me up. He was also loyal and a great leader. But I have to say I also liked Greed, well both greeds. He was amazing and I loved him up until the very end when he died.

reply

Roy is one of my personal favorites as well. He has such an awesome personality.

Roy Mustang. It's as if the character is live action rather than animated. This is such a great show that close behind him would be hard for me to choose. Roy's right and left hand, Riza Hawkeye. Al or Ed. Van Hohenheim.

I wish I had a Kryptonite cross, because then I could keep Dracula & Superman away.

reply

I love him! And yeah to me all of the characters are extremely realistic and amazing. Especially. There all touched by tragedy and have problems but are still very intact.

reply

Edward for his funny reactions when someone call him shrimp lol

Greed is great too

reply

Indeed his reactions rock! and which Greed regular or GreedLing?

reply

Hmmm, tricky .... Well, here's my list (in order).

1. Roy Mustang! He's just so awesome and I'm forever quoting the 'tiny miniskirts' line.

2. Scar! One of the best villains of all time in my opinion. Amazingly cool, awesomely bad, I just couldn't help but love him.

3. Alphonse Elric! Sorry Edward, but Alphonse was just so damn adorable in this.

4. Edward Elric! Well, obviously he had to be in this list somewhere ....

5. Riza Hawkeye! She was all kinds of badass in this and it was great to see a female anime character that wasn't totally helpless.

6. Coming in sixth is Maes Hughes! No one was ever as awesomely hilarious as he was.

Honourable mentions: Lieutenant Havoc, Black Hayate, Lust, Sensei ...

reply

Roy, Greed, Ling

although in the other FMA I liked Hughes and Armstrong more

reply

Wrath!!! He was just such a Badass!!! Probably the Biggest Badass in the series( and thats saying a lot!) Definitely the Coolest Bad Guy! I also loved Envy,Scar Mustang, Kimblee, Pride, and of Course Major Armstrong!!!!!

reply

Envy. I just love villains that're so utterly batsh*t you can't help but have a fondness for them.

reply

i know Envy's awesome! he also has a sad story which made me feel sorry for him.

"Human kind can not gain anything without first giving something in return- Alphonse Elric

reply

Scar, Greed, and Kimblee.

RIP Billy Mays

I loved Izumi, Greed/Greedlin, Scar and Envy, but there were so many great characters, i find it difficult to choose any one of them.
-EDIT- Just watched this amazing show again, and in the last 10 eps or so, Wrath really sent chills down my spine. Have to, have to add him to the list.

Sorry to say but I did not like Ed most of the series. I just felt like in places he should have matured, he choose to stay ignorant and childish but that's to stay in left field for another day.

Hughes def was my most fav character. He was cool in a crazy way, I liked how he was able to give insight to Ed Al and winry and also his cuckoiness about his daughter.

Alex Armstrong was the other. What more can be said about him. He also went up high in my ranks after saving his sister.

Never has a show in general touched me so many times and has made me cry

King Bradley was impressive, I loved the artwork (he had one of those face) and the English voice for King Bradley Brotherhood was brilliant, smooth yet menacing.
