Battle Royal with Father and Shin Gojira (Big, nasty spoilers)

I just finished the series today. As I was watching the battle with Father I couldn't help but compare the attack on him to the similar strategy used against Shin Gojira.In Father's fight they throw everything they have at him to burn down his Philosopher's stone. Shin Gojira gets his internal reactor depleted while being assailed by waves of drone strikes and explosive-filled kamikaze trains.
