'obligatory' stripper scenes in these types of films

I guess it's part of the lifestyle..but you almost come to expect these scenes! As a woman, I can say I was very pleased they did NOT have the 2 main characters get together. It would have been too predictable..and he looked like her father.

Are there are a lot of stripper scenes in this movie?

I know some people who worked on the movie who mentioned a strip club scene, but that was all they mentioned. Guess it ended up in the movie LOL.

Haven't seen the movie yet though.

I expect drug dealers and gangsters to go to strip clubs.
If they all went to art galleries or bookshops I would not believe that.

These were not particularly cultured individuals who would have attended the theatre, the ballet, or the opera, or gone home to read a book praised by the New Yorker or to watch Masterpiece Theatre.

They ate at a fancy restaurants but the rest of their entertainment was sex-oriented. Also, their culture objectifies women so strip clubs would have been mandatory for them.

Gangsters, drug dealers and mobsters are not the only people who love strip clubs. Professional athletes -football and basketball players cherish strip clubs, too. In fact, I label a portion of their salaries as "strip club money." The bigger the strip club, the better. Married men, college students and the occasional stock broker frequent these establishments as well. Every major U.S. city should have distinquished gentlemen's clubs. No membership required.

'obligatory' whining comment. I guess it's part of the lifestyle...but you almost come to expect these comments.

Shoot in the 80's I was probably in a strip club at least once a week. And I was a just an Engineer not a mobster. It's just where guys went at the time. And Florida, especially Tampa and Miami had some of the best clubs.

But I agree that Im glad that they didn't have Bob and Kathy get together. They didn't in real life and she was even younger looking.

Earth? I've never heard of it.
