John Leguizamo box office poison???

I, by pure bad luck have seen just about every movie with this guy and have not enjoyed any of them. Neither have they made any real box office money if I recall.

I love Brian C, but this seems like a bad idea....

John Wick was a good film, and performed well at the box office as well

reply

You're confused. JOHN WICK was a HUGE FAILURE at the box office!!!!

reply

Writing in Caps does not make you right.

reply

John Wick made over 85 million on a 20 million dollar budget. That's considered a financial success.

reply

I know that's why they made John Wick 2. All those wealthy Hollywood elites are only in it to lose money

Quit lying, troll. Not only was JOHN WICK a big box office hit, so was the sequel (which was even better) and the filmmakers just recently confirmed that there will be a third JOHN WICK for certain.

reply

Romeo & Julie was fantastic as was Moulin Rouge imo x

reply

Spawn was also cool as *beep*

reply

Spawn was not cool - The Nostalgia Critic breaks down exactly why very well

While the movie hasn't aged the best, back when it first came out it was very enjoyable. The action scenes now are still pretty fun. However I think this thread was discussing the box office, so try to keep in the mindset of when it came out.

Leguizamo is to movies what salt is to dinner. A sprinkle of salt improves the food, but no one wants a dinner where the main ingredient is salt.

The same can be said about Danny Trejo.

reply

Uh, Ice Age marketed his involvement and they've all been huge financial successes. Granted he's a part of an ensemble but it's not like they're keeping his casting a secret.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

reply

I'm pretty sure that "The Pest" was a smash hit in 1997.

reply

You didn't like Carlito's Way?

reply

I know people usually identify him for Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet, I think Too Wong foo, but box office poison? I liked him in Carlito's Way,he great also one of the great lines of all time "Benny Blanco from the Bronx" also Summer of Sam , he was good, so, those two examples alone means he's not poison for every movie He's in pretty sure they both made money

Hater. This message board could have done without your opinion...Of you don't like then don't comment. Save your energy...smh

reply

Sorry...while I disagree with John Leguizamo being box office poison, I wholeheartedly disagree that the OP shouldn't be allowed to post his opinion. That's what a forum is. A place for discussion.
