The Infiltrator just doesn't deliver. Very weak, especially compared to other movies of this genre.
Not so hot script and not so good pacing.

Agreed. Cranston showed some talent in breaking bad, but he is doing very poorly in film. Not uncommon with TV actors who are in a successful TV series for a number of reasons (good writing, good timing in cultural memes) and whose mediocre talent does not translate to success outside of that series.
shareHes great in films such as trumbo and argo. I thought he was good here too but the script sucked. But Bryan is one of this generations best actors imo
shareAgreed. It lacked substance. The one part with Barry Seal they didn't explain him enough or give his role enough time. He was a huge part of the drug wars back in those days. I like Cranston but he can't carry a lead in a movie, perhaps a TV show, not a movie.
shareAgreed. Compare it to Wolf of Wall Street. That's movie whether it was accurate or not was still far more entertaining.

He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.
