Just watched this movie and found it confusing. I tried watching some parts again to try and get it. I don't understand how he got hurt in the chest when he was in the bowling alley. Can anyone help? Thanks

It was the electronic listening device. After they were arrested, he was taken to their van and they pulled up his shirt. It showed that he got burned by the listening device which had sparks coming out of it.
