TFIOS vs. If I Stay

I don't know if this has been asked before but in film quality-wise, which one was better? I usually do not like to compare things, but it's human nature to. These two are very similar being a YA book and romance. Of course I'm not asking to see which one is bad which one is good. I thought both If I Stay and TFIOS were great movies, but which one was "better"? lol... Or which one hit you in the feels more?

reply

TFIOS. Adam and Mia were poorly cast and had NO CHEMISTY. It felt really awkward. Chloe's acting was awkward/bad in this movie too.

reply

I think they casted Adam right. But Chloe was really miscast.

reply

Not even close. TFIOS was a piece of garbage.

reply

You got that backwards, according to the critics.

reply

I prefer If I Stay. I cared about the main characters unlike TFIOS main characters, I was indifferent to them. Also, I would watch If I Stay more than once but I will probably never watch TFIOS again, once was enough for me. I didn't hate but I find it overrated (I might have liked it better if it wasn't overhyped).

Critics opinions are not fact (for some reason, when the majority of them loves a film, I either hate it or am indifferent to it). I'm not surprised that critics loved TFIOS because John Green seems to be one of those lucky authors whose work receives more praise than constructive criticism.

They're both purdy bad. Watch Guardianz of da Galaxy instead

Werd 2 ur mudda, bruddafckka

reply

TFIOS, in my opinion.

reply

TFIOS all the way, and I say this as a fan of Chloe but for some reason If I Stay seemed forced at times.

Break the rules and in a couple of years you will have a hell of a story to tell.

reply

TFIOS, by far
