great documentary

this honestly speaks about all those sh*tty psychotropic drugs. they're obviously futile, and instead of making things better, it does the opposite. and those ADHD drugs (take note that it's a SCHEDULE II: same category as those powerful narcotic opiates like Oxycodone and Morphine) are given to little children who are too young to be taking medications? let alone C-II drugs! it's just amazing how meth is written for elementary kids. it's disturbing.

and it's a shame that this very thing is still happening at this moment. so many useless drugs are given to people that do not even need them. altering the brain functionality is wrong and doctors still pursue giving prescriptions to people. these big pharma manufacturers are making me sick. it's a horrible world we live in.

Agreed, but I'm not totally against psychiatric drugs for children. I can hoestl say now, as an adult Paxil and Zoloft later had helped me as a kid, I made more friends and was generally happier because of these. I very well could have killed myself if I never got on them. But in a way they also numbed me. I was depressed, but I wad depressed for good reason, but they helped me move on with my life. I've been off of them for a while, and they seemed to have broken that barrier and I no longer have the problems I was taking those medications for. But that was depression, not ADD which I was diagnosed with and took adderall, which didn't seem to do anything but give me crappy side effects. I think all kids, or anyone for that matter, are going to get bored sitting in a desk for 8 hours. They just act too fast on giving out these drugs.

We had to watch this back to back with Frontline's The Medicated Child with a group of people who had been frequently prescribing behavior modifying medication for children.
The horror on the faces of people who knew they should've known better was evident afterwards.
